18.5 miles, into Lake Oswego along Lakeview Blvd.  I'm always blown away by these homes--the cheapest can't be bought for less than 1 million.  Ran from there to the temple and onto the Tigard HS loop.

Felt great.  1 more week until the half marathon...

I love running through "interesting" neighborhoods. I call those my "lookie-loo" runs. I'll be very interested to read your Foot Traffic race report. It looks like such a great course but I am getting so cautious about summer racing (well, earlier than August anyway) because of my nausea problem. By mid August I can handle 70's, though I still don't run well. June and July - it's just horrible to try to race in warm temps. Well, anyway, I have my eye on the Foot Traffic full marathon for someday...

Snoqualmie- I couldn't agree more about the Foot Traffic race. I'm originally from Southern Utah and running in heat was never a problem for me. Now that I've been in Oregon for 2 years my body has fully adjusted to the cooler, humid weather. Not even 2 weeks ago it was still mid-40's in the mornings but it's quickly getting hotter.

Reading Foot Traffic reports from previous years, heat has been the biggest complaint. There is very little shade and it can warm up quickly. That concerned me enough that I passed on the full and registered for the half.

BUT... both courses look pancake flat and are literally 5 feet above sea level. If the heat is bearable, it's a runners dream with PR written all over it! That's my plan anyway, but who knows? ;)

Too bad they insist on holding it in July. Flat marathons are pretty hard to come by in the PNW. Good luck.
