AM: 13 miles this morning around the hospital loop and then to the south freeway overpass behind Tualatin HS, finally home via Boones Ferry. Lots of hills today but that's a good thing. I'm going to try and run doubles today and tomorrow so I can have some flexibility later this week when baby #2 joins the family. PM: 9 miles to Tualatin HS with 3 of them on the track. As I was running around the track, I passed two mothers with their sets of kids and following the large group was a goat. Yup, a goat. It was smallish, maybe 15-18 lbs, and clearly the family's pet. And here's the best part of all; the group was walking and the goat decided to stop and sit at the 50 yard-line. After he fell behind by 20 or so yards (and the mom/owner finally noticed), I could hear members of the group calling "Billy....Billy, come here Billy." He ignored them so a kid walked back and attached a leash to the goat before they left the track for the night. Strange. I'm 100% certain I've never seen a goat....walking on a leash....at the local HS track. One of the mothers and one of the kids had BYU shirts on, so that explains a lot.... I'll leave it at that!
