Ryan's loop this morning.  I was cold as soon as I got out of bed so subsequently, I over-dressed.  The first mile was pleasant, but for the 9 miles after that I was HOT.  I would occasionally take off my gloves and beanie to cool down, only for my ears and fingers to go numb minutes (seconds?) later.  The joys of winter running.

What was the temperature there? I live in central Texas...I get cold if it's below 60 degrees, it's the pits, they call it Raynaud's syndrome. I need to move to Mexico...!

It's hard to perfect how to dress in the winter. Nice work on keeping up the mileage!

Preston- It's not too bad here really. It was low 30's this morning so I shouldn't complain!

Seth- Tell me about it! In a couple months it will be t-shirt and short weather and we won't have to think about it! Hey, have you ever ran the Striders 10 miler in Ogden in March?

From Seth on Fri, Jan 21, 2011 at 17:48:40 from 199.188.28.8

No, the race is about 1.5 hours from my house, and weather can be unpredictable that time of year. You could search the Race Reports on this blog for last years race and probably find someone who ran it. What brings you to Utah?

My Grandparents 68th wedding anniversary is that weekend. They live in Bountiful so it would be fairly close. We'll see though. I don't think I'm up for racing in a snowstorm!

Wow 68 years, congrats! Good luck if you decide to race.
