So it really wasn't my plan to take a week off of running after Lincoln.  I feel like I've gone non-stop ever since I returned to Utah, with work training in Ogden, then some very long days of work yesterday and today.  I hope I can get on a routine come Monday and get back to some consistency.

Sometimes the best training is rest. You deserve it with the driving What good would it do you anyways training being tired it would only break you down worse.

It's true. I have felt trashed ever since the race. Last night was the first time in 2 weeks that I got 8 hours of sleep. I'm feeling ready to go again on Monday.

It's good to take some time off, but I've found that if you can at least get out the door, even a jog is great. Its hard to find consistency from time to time. I think thats why the greatest athletes have coaches. Someone there to make them get outside when things get tough.

That's great about your sleep. After the sleep I bet you'll be back to your training. Should I say back to your speedy self.
