1 mile from the mechanic to the HS track, 8 miles around the track and 1 mile back to the mechanic.  They replaced my front passenger wheel bearing for $350.  Hopefully someone will buy my car now that the strange humming sound is gone.  Keeping my fingers crossed...

Southwest ran a sale this morning so Andrea and I just booked tickets to come up to the portland track festival in June. When I saw that they added a 10K on friday night under the lights, I couldn't resist.

AWESOME! You wont regret the trip. Andrea will run as well I presume? I'm sure it's going to be a fast field, just like every year. I also wish I hadn't signed up for the Newport Marathon (6 days prior) and could run in the meet as well!

I've heard great things about the Newport Marathon as well. Seems like a nice, fast course. I'm sure you'll do well - you gotta be thinking under 2:30, right? After that 10K, you are definitely on that kind of track.

Andrea will run too - although she does not have much interest in the 10K on the track, so she'll enter the 5000
