2.5 mile into my run, I felt a sharp, searing pain in my left foot. I immediately slowed down and looked at what kind if rock I'd stepped on. No rock...but instead, it was a screw that went directly through my shoe. I untied and took my shoe off to see that the screw was sticking through the sole 1/2 inch and my sock was bleeding. Good times... Luckily it happened across the street from the local gym in Camas and I hopped over, called Andrea, and got a ride home. Now I'm at urgent care getting a tetanus shot for the first time since 1999.
