Decent run tonight. I was hoping to pick up the pace for 5-6 miles for a tempo workout, but it didn't really happen. 5 miles nice and easy heading west from my hotel in Roseburg where I saw a total of 9 deer, all of which were no more than 25 meters off the road. I turned around and started to pick up the pace on my return and was pleased when 5:40 felt comfortable. It didn't feel like I was jogging, but I didn't feel like I was pressing either. Did this for 3.5 miles and then learned that I was lost. At one point I was running on a bridge that crossed over a river but was under I-5. Shortly after that I wound up in the cemetary... Weird. Anyway, eventually made it back to the hotel but the last 2 miles were slower as I made my way back to the streets and stopped at a few lights. White (126) |
