6.5 miles for a warm up to Walmart and then to the HS. I then tried my hand at speed work for the first time in what feels like years. 5x1600m with 400m rest between each. 1. 5:49 (1:57), 2. 5:51 (1:56), 3. 5:34 (1:58), 4. 5:28 (2:07), 5. 5:16. Felt okay throughout but my lungs weren't loving life on the 3rd and 4th laps with each interval. Pretty pleased with how I was able to finish out the workout. 800m cool down and then 4 miles back home. Good start back into the next training cycle. |
