20 miles this morning. First 20 mile run of 2012 and I hope the rest go as smoothly. I kept the pace easy throughout--no tempos, no intervals, nothing but casual running on a perfect February morning. So perfect that I ran in short sleeves and arm warmers/gloves. First time I've used the arm sleeves and I like them. Anyway, ran all around GP. First the the west, then back and across the bridge. From there to Sportsman Park and back to the north freeway. Quick bathroom break at McDonalds and then home via the HS, the library, east Albertsons and the middle school. Legs felt great. Lungs felt even better. Averaged 7:01/mile for 20. Solid. |
