Home in Medford after a few days in Portland.  I ran south past Home Depot, across the freeway to Phoenix, then north on the bike trail and home via Barnett. Feeling okay but not 100%. Signed up for the Eugene Marathon this morning. I had considered the Vancouver or Lincoln marathon but it just made sense to run in the closest race (under 3 hours away).

Would you say I'm your 'American' idol? I just figured after Eugene in May I will have ran 4 marathons in 4 states so I'll be well on my way.... May as well, right? Then there is Seattle in June and Vegas in December. That puts me @ 6 in 6 states. Only 44 more to go :)

The only one for sure is Eugene in May--I signed up today. Seattle is 7 weeks after that which is probably not enough recovery between races. I really liked doing a December marathon last year and Vegas is just as easy to get to as Sacramento. Who knows?
