AM: 7 miles on Ryan's loop. Hopefully more tonight.

PM: 12 miles around Tigard HS and Home Depot.  After 9 miles I came across a man in a truck that had stalled on busy Tualatin-Sherwood Highway (near Fred Meyer, just before the free way on-ramp).  I asked if he needed help and we pushed his truck roughly 300 meters into the Starbucks/Subway parking lot.  Wow!  It zapped me of any juice I had left in me.  It reminded me of being in college and doing squats right after finishing a run.  Problem was I still had 3 miles to go.  Needless to say, it was a slow moving final 3 miles.  Karma, right?

7 miles very early before flying to Vegas for 4 days of work. I hope to be able to keep the mileage up in addition to long meetings.

AM: 9 miles on the Las Vegas Strip. I was up @ 5:00 and ran the first 4 miles by myself, then the next 5 miles were with Jason, Jim, Jared & Saunders. We ran through a red light and next thing we hear is a siren from a cop car. What are the odds of getting stopped for jaywalking @ 5:30 in the morning?

PM: 5 miles with Jim. We stayed off the Strip as much as possible

6 miles with Jim & Jason. It's going to be a long day of meetings. Fun stuff!

I was up @ 5:00 to run 10 miles on the Strip. There was less traffic today & I was alone so it was a pretty efficient run. I went from end to end (Mandalay Bay to the Stratosphere) and then went 1 street east & eventually returned back to Mandalay Bay. My nose/lungs felt 'off' from all the smoke the past 3 days, one of the many downfalls of Vegas.

Final Saturday run in Portland.  I'm gonna miss this place.  It took me a while to enjoy the routes but I do like them.  So it goes...

I ran into Lake Oswego and then returned home via South Shore Blvd.  I've still never heard why they've drained the lake?  It's been a number of months now so whatever is going on must be quite a process.

Averaged 6:41 for the 14 miles.  I pushed the pace the final 3.5 miles for a quick-ish finish (5:25 pace).  I'm feeling good and ready to jump into a race when I get the chance.
