I'm back.....I hope.  It's been over a month and my foot feels the same--feels completely fine as long as I'm not running.  The top of my left foot still looks larger than my left, but I couldn't label it as swollen or inflamed.  Who knows?

I played basketball 10 days ago and it felt ok so today I decided to give running a try and hope for the best.  I went 2 miles on the treadmill and felt no pain so I added on 1 more mile.  No pain during, after, or the following morning so that's promising.

3 more pain free miles.  Pain free in the foot anyway...  I'm all sorts of out-of-shape.

Increased the distance today by a whopping half mile.  The worst part about coming off an injury is the slow buildup to where you left off.  I ran past a school just shy of 2 miles and they had a pull-up bar outside so I did 12 and then finished off the run.  I'll try and incorporate these into my runs in the future.
