6 miles in GP. Felt ok but not great for a Monday. Could be from all the desert we ate last night.

AM: 11 miles in GP.

PM: 9 miles in Eugene. Very hot (for the pacific nw) and it was 92 when I ran. Not too enjoyable. I ran around the campus with a few laps on Hayward Field for good measure. Then around town some more before returning to the campus and running 1 mile barefoot and then to the hotel.

10 miles in Eugene. Similar course as last night, minus the barefoot running around the campus. Felt pretty good, although my right leg has been bothering me a bit the past couple days. Just really tight in the hamstring and doesn't seem to loosen up regardless of what I do or how much I stretch. I'm certain it's from all the driving I do. It's starting to catch up to me...

The AC went out in our house.  Therefore slept like junk and struggled to get up in the morning.  Only time for 7 miles.  Wanted to run again after work but too much going on to justify going out again.  So it goes.

20 miles around GP and it was an 'on again, off again' battle the whole way.  At times I felt great, other times not so much.  I ran a 9 mile warm up with a bathroom stop in the middle (Schroeder Park).  I ran west of town on Leonard and Applegate Rd which eventually looped back to Redwood Highway.  That was 9 miles exactly so I stopped, used the bathroom and began an 11 mile tempo portion.  It was good at times (first couple miles was a piece of cake) but then I'd have a flair up here and there (hamstring, achilies, arch pain, etc).  Seriously considered stopping after mile 3 of the tempo but the pain went away and I managed ok...

Back into town past Schroeder Park again, past the fairgrounds and Riverside Park before returning home around the hospital.  The first 10 miles were solid (59:30) but then I hit the wall on the 11th mile.  Thankfully I was close to home and jogged in the last 800 meters or so.  Lack of water (as in none) was the culprit.  And it was pushing 70 degrees from the start so plenty warm for the NW.  I tried a new Gu at mile 9 (peanut butter)--taste was very good but not the easiest to take without water.
