10 miles this morning on Ryan's loop. A little cold but not too bad. I'd like to try and get another run in later today. It may happen...but probably not. Turns out I was wrong...I was able to run again. Pretty sweet. It's been a long time since I've done a double. 6 easy miles through Tualatin and Tigard parks. |

| | 10 miles around the THS track and XC course. A little cold but manageable for the first 50 minutes, then the last 20 minutes home were CHILLY as I ran north, directly into the wind. Oregon is in a state of mourning after last nights game... There's always next year, right? |

| | 11 miles around Tigard HS loop, with 3 miles on the track. Started with 6 miles to get to the track, then I ran some 400s and 800s to get the legs moving a little. -400 in 1:25, 200 recovery in 53 -400 in 1:20, 200 recovery in 52 -800 in 2:41, 200 in 55 -800 in 2:39, 200 in 58 -400 in 1:19, 200 in 56 -400 in 1:13, then easy jog home Things felt pretty good. Obviously not the quickest workout but it was better than nothing I suppose. Temps were nice but it was very wet and the 15mph wind was slightly annoying.

| | 10 miles in the pouring rain on the hospital loop. It sounds cliche, but I couldn't have gotten more wet if I was standing in my shower. Having said that, todays run was a blast. I felt great the entire time and my foot is getting better each day. |

| | Strange run today. It was raining (THAT isn't unusual/strange in the least bit) but a pretty warm 53 degrees so I left the house in t-shirt and shorts. I ran into Lake Oswego via Boones Ferry Rd and then looped back toward I-5 on Kruze Way. Along the way, near mile 5 and the business offices in Lake O, I ran past a brand new 10 dollar bill floating in a puddle. Score! Them rich folk must be throwing money away?! Lake Oswego is to Portland what Park City is to Salt Lake. I made my way past the temple and TJ's and by this point my chest (ie nipples) were killing! The combination of constant rain, loose shirt and long run was causing some serious chaffing. Seeing how the rain wasn't stopping anytime soon and I still had 8 miles to go, I ditched my shirt for the remainder of the run. For some reason it was a warm-ish 53 degrees so it wasn't bad at all. I can't remember the last time I ran in mid-January with no shirt. I love living then the NW. The last eventful occurrence was nearly getting run over by a lady who drove through a red light near Burgerville in Tigard as I was crossing in the crosswalk. I was pretty fired up about nearly getting clipped so I chased her down, hoping she would get caught at a red light but to no avail. Interesting day to say the least.
