Fishers Landing to McGilvary and the church, then home via Mill Plain.

I ran around Costco, Grass Valley, and the Wells before returning home.  Right hip was bothersome...

Ran to Union HS and then did 5 miles around the track. It was bitter cold today (for me anyway). 19 degrees and it felt colder around the grass infield/outfield around the track. Picked up the pace the last couple miles which was nice for a change. 

Got lost in a retirement community where each street and every house looked identical. The streets were awfully quiet though, which was nice.  Haha

We got snow last night. Fun. I dressed appropriately so I was warm, but the 20 mph wind and snowflakes made for fierce pain as they hit my retinas. Ouch. As long as I ran any direction but east, I was ok. Otherwise it was painful...

Around target, up 172nd and the stake center, then behind Costco and Union HS, then home. Just as cold as yesterday, minus the snow so it was tolerable. 

Ran Mill Plain and then back to Union HS, then home. Roads are still icy.

Snow again last night. The previous snow hasn't melted yet so there was a bunch of ice. Not pleasant...

Around Costco to Union HS, 3 miles around the rack, then home via the middle school and a few laps around that track also. 

Warmest its been in weeks.

I ran behind Union high school and Costco on a road I've never been on before. Found a pretty good dirt trail the runs along the lake 3 1/2 miles out and back so 7 miles total. Pretty enjoyable run. 

Around 164th to Walmart and home. 

Sick. Blah. 

Icy roads made for a miserable run.

Same as the rest if the week. Ice on the road made things interesting an it was a little chilly. 5 miles around Fishers Landing and then around Costco and Union HS. 

One of my most miserable runs of my life. Right hamstring and hip were tight, grinding, knotted up, just painful...  Every mile got slower and slower to the point where I felt like I was walking the last two miles. Just miserable. All that after visiting the chiro yesterday. Didn't even need to go, really. Just thought I'd get one last visit in before the end of the year for insurance purposes. Maybe he made things worse. Who knows? But I didn't have fun today...

Felt light years better than Saturday. Lots of stretching over the weekend. 

One very large loop along 172nd to the Rite Aid, Evergreen HS, Mill Plain, church and home via McGillvery. 

Merry Christmas. Was up at 5 to get in a quick run before the presents and junk food. 

Happy Boxing Day! Discovered a new route around Camas Golf Club. I love discovering new routes. 

Costco hill and back. 

A figure eight. First loop to 164th and Target then home. Second loop around the Wells. Nice morning.

Ran past Costco to the Lacamas Trail (3 miles) and then 2 miles out and back on the trail before returning home.

McGilvary to Cinetopia and the Fred Meyer near I-205, then back via Winco. Rip hip wasn't loving life. 

Year was up and down.  Ran a couple marathons (Phoenix and Newport).  Phoenix was fun, Newport was my best ever.  Loved every step of that race.  Took some time off after than, then changed jobs and moved so that made for some low weeks/months with regards to mileage.  Ended up about 600 miles shy of last year, but my time in New Jersey was the main reason.  Started to ramp things back up the last month or so, but not sure what 2014 entails.  I'm signed up for Seattle Rock N Roll and I can't decide about going back to Newport for a third straight year.  And I found over $180 while cleaning up the streets of GP and Vancouver so that's good I suppose.  When I started the year, I thought $25-$30 would be an achievable goal with $50 a stretch goal.  I guess carrying grocery bags while I run has helped me carry a few more...  I can't decide if I'll continue in 2014 or not, but most likely will cause I like $.
