Delayed flight out of SLC yesterday. We finally left about 9:45 and 20 minutes into the flight the airplane hit a bird, so we turned around and returned to SLC. Originally they thought the plane was ok, but then decided to swap with another. We finally left around 11:30 and landing 2 hours later. I eventually crawled into bed at 2:00 AM. The result was just 5 miles this morning, a small victory.

Scary event, glad you were all safe. Long day though.

Remind me, what is your professional that you are traveling so frequently?

Yep, not complaining; better safe than sorry.

I’m in sales. I used to work just Oregon but for the last year my territory has been Oregon, southern Washington and Boise/Meridian/Nampa Idaho.
